Vee left her home on her thirteenth birthday and for the past twenty years has been living in the Colorado forests - where the veil between our world and the magical world is thinnest. Callum, her brother, has led a normal life, taking care of his family, dealing with the absence of his sister, and ignoring his family’s ties to the magical world. We follow their lives as adults - Callum with his responsibilities - Vee with her magical adventures.
