Upon returning to her mother's birthplace, the filmmaker offers, through a contemplative, intimate, and loving perspective, a glimpse into the daily life of her family and the town of Buenavista, their work and enjoyment, their celebrations and ancestral traditions, all framed by the misty beauty of the Oaxacan mountains.
